It's Friday Night...nope...suppose to be Saturday "AM" to be exact...
Here i am, home alone...surfing the net..(as usual Face-Booking)
Compared to some of the mid-twenties adults, i really have to admit that "Yes!!!my life is BORING!!!" Busy working from Mon - Fri...Looking at my collicks, planning for their weekend really make me goes "Awwww, how interesting plans they have!!!" I'm also looking forward to weekends but there's really nothing much i can do for my weekends..."Hanging out with friends drinking coffee&tea from 10pm - 2am then head back home to sleep..."--->that's what we do on weekends...
Staying home indeed help Alvin & me to save some money for the preparation for all our future plans like Wedding Customary Dinner, Love Nest, Babies and our once-a-while holiday getaway!!Looking at the way Alvin & i spend is really "AI-YO!!! *shake head*"
Now...i've learn to make do with my lousy nail painting instead of paying for mani & pedi although people who r close to me know that i enjoy all my mani & pedi sessions...
i must learn to resist shopping and even online shopping... =(

From the day, Alvin and me got our Love-Nest...We heard all kinds of feedbacks!!!
Alright,cum on...We are just paying for something we both like...

cos my Mum is in her room watching DVDS..Dad still in the garden trimming his plants and playing with his new pets(BIRD)..Bro & friends playing MJ in the living room!!-->it's 12.30am!
Alvin is out with Daniel Wee & Beng for "Let's Get Together, GUYS!!!"(LGTG) sessions...and i'm not allowed to be there...seriously, i used to thought that it's a bad idea when they don't allowed girls presence...i used to make it big issue with Alvin when he tells me that he's joining them for LGTG...We'll quarrel and fight and in the end, he will still leave me alone and join the guys...
I don't know since when.... ..... ........ ............ I've learned to be more understanding that he needs his own time with his friends too...As his wife, i still cant tied him with a rope and demand him to stay by my side at all times right???
Maintaining a Relationship is the same as the Skills of Flying Kite...
1. If you don't know how to let go, the string will snap...

I was chatting with a lady this morning...She's my co-collick, work with her ever since the 1st day i'm in my present company..let's not mention name and we'll call her Jane...Jane is in her 40s & she's a 100% Hot-mummy...She's always a cheerful lady, always teaching us new knowledge (or maybe not..cos she can be quite blur at times)...although there's age-gap between us but chatting with her is so easy..
She was mentioning to me about her betraying husband...they have been together for 23 years...(i'm repeating myself 23 years)...all these happen because of a 28 years old girl in Jane's husband's office..
It really got me wondering how can a guy give up the family just because of a girl that is 15 years younger than him...
Is it true that love & don't love is separated by a thin line...?(is either i love U or i don't love U)
Although i can't give Jane the best solution...nor i can tell her what to do at the end of the day...
I'm just her co-collick...but Jane, i can be your most sincere listening ears...
As for me...i believe i can only do my best in my relationship with Alvin... =)

Our Love Nest...
Okay...I'll try to update this blog frequently k?
Well, let's talk about our Love Nest...
Upon receiving the invitation from HDB to go for our selection for Pinnacles @ Duxton...We were so excited when we know that we are getting OUR OWN SPACE...
But looking at the price that HDB is offering, we were STUNNED!!! there was 2nd thoughts bout it...We are afraid that we can't afford it..Scare that those "what if" situations occurs!!!
After some discussions, we were quite sure that we are going for it...
- getting a flat in CBD at the price which is considered cheap...
- the conveniences...
and
bla bla bla...
told a few of our friends...
some of the replies was : WOAH..SI BEI EX LOR...
for those that said that: WHO DOESNT KNOW IT'S EX???
ok...i'll be back for more info on this issues...
im discussing with ju mocka & gis for our BKK plans... =)

Updates on our Big Day
the very 1st step is meeting "THE RIGHT ONE"
Nobody can tell u that are u r with the right partner and YES!!!(fortunately or unfortunately) only u yourself will know the answer...i mean u see, i do have friends telling me "eermmm, i dont noe if he's the one..."friends questioning me " how sure are u that Alvin is the one u will spend the rest of your life with???"
seriously, im not sure how tough will the road ahead be for us but as long as both of us are determine to continue holding hands firmly & keeping each other in our hearts no matter what happen...afterall, Alvin is the 1 i choose to spend the rest of my life with...since we've chosen each other, it's a Commitment for Life...
u see, we cant predict FUTURE...but look at your partner now, can u imagine both of u CREATING your own future???Alvin & me believe in working towards our own future...our own future is determine by us...
"Today seeds will be tomorrow flowers" --> (u dont expect to get roses if u plant sunflower seeds right?)

Trust me : WEDDING PREPARATION IS REALLY A TOUGH TASK
i buy things on impulse jus like how i decide to buy my IPod Nano in less than 5minutes...
jus like the tons of clothes tt was in my cupboard either wore once or with the price tag...
and not forget the shoes & heels tt are in the cabinets for years...
ohya, and baby swift was really an impulse decision...Car is really a financial commitment...
Wedding Prep: U want the best...U dont want to make the wrong choice and regret later on...u see, i never like to do many days & nights research before buying anythings...Bcos of our Big Day, i've learn to join forum like SingaporeBride, theKnot, bla bla bla...oso flipping Magazines over & over & over again so that i dont leave out any important information...

settled my wedding venue (Swissotel the Stamford-Dannis Yeo)
the moment we stepped into the Ballroom, we were like "This is Great!!!" We can imagine ourselves marching in with all guest smiling and clapping the hands for us...It must be the lighting that created a very romantic feel...im not sure if Alvin thinks alike but it certainly gave me the "Beauty & the Beast" 's Ballroom Feel...
settled my Bridal with Whitelink-Agnes
Before i talk about their gowns...i definately must give credit to Agnes..She's the most sincere lady i met after going mayb 10 - 15 bridal shop...she's very friendly and not even 1% pushy...she's willing to share informations with me even before i decided to sign their package..& she's the 1 that told me to discuss & consider bout signing with them...on my second meet up with Agnes, she show me the gowns that they have and their gowns is so so SO "My Type"-princess-ly...they do have alot of different styles of gowns...(ladies & gents, planning for their wedding shld go down to have a look..esp. latte & mocka)
selected my AD Photographer & Videographer with Mojoideas-Jaze Ong
met up with a few photographers saw their works...some of them the photos were good but jus couldnt click with the PG...some of the PG were quite friendly but dont really like their work..i've got to know bout Mojoideas thru surfing the net for AD PG & VG...their name MojoIdeas attracted me...cos i find the word "Mojo" quite funny...that's the reason i clicked on their link...after looking thru their onlines photos, i've decided to give Mr Jaze Ong a call...met up with him and guess wat... ... he's even funnier than the word "Mojo" la...(kidding la) he showed us some of his work...Alvin & me was sure that he's going to be AD PG & VG...we like his piece of work bcos it's natural and there's funny elements in it...as we are both looking for AD PG & VG tt will capture more than jus photos..we wanted them to capture the memories...we believe they r capable of doing that for us...they are very important on the Actual Day...(ladies & gents, planning for their wedding should also take note of this: the Actual will only happen once, do find some1 who u both feel comfortable with..as they are going to take down all the evidence of yr memories so that 10 or even 20 years down the road, u can still look at the photos and laugh about it...)
Phew~i did all these all alone with the kind understanding from Alvin that i can make sole-decision..
with all the preparations done for the big day:
Its the Marriage - Commitment for Life that we are looking forward to...
Wedding is an announcement and a formal channels for families & friends to give their blessings to us..
Therefore, please be present on our Wedding Day to give us your blessings as we move on to our Marriage Life...

Update...
Had been quite busy recently...
For the month of December, i was busy preparing the Gathering over at my place for Xmas Celebration...Hey, it's really not easy organising & preparing foods for all my friends roughly (30 pax)... Had simple BBQ - during the preparation for the food, i was afraid that the food will be insufficient for all my friends tt turn up that night...in the end as usual, tons of foods was left over and squeezing all the remaining food into my freezer was a challenge...
Xmas - the most exciting & funniest part will always be the ALL-TIME-FAVOURITE-GIFT EXCHANGE...hahaha...in order not to receive non-practical gifts that most of us received in 2007 Xmas...i've changed the GIFT-THEME : $20 PRACTICAL UNI-SEX GIFTS...guess wat...almost all the gifts were from Watson, Popular, Bodyshop etc, etc, etc...Gifts like Shampoo, Body Shower, Notebooks...TOOTHPASTE & TOOTHBRUSH!!!okok...that's how funny my group of friends can be...Practical & Funny!!!

Friends...though they are not the closest 1 in your life...but i guess Friends are equally important compare to your loved 1...friends are there when u needed them to be there...definately, u have to be there for them when u r needed...

i was talking to Hub the other night...we were debating on the EXPECTATION FROM OUR FRIENDS...the only thing that is making me tired of meeting up with friends is the expectation from them...i mean activities can go on with or without me & hub...in the end..i've understand or i rather choose to believe that it's bcos MR & MRS Chua are important in our friends' heart tt's y they choose to have us around for all activities... =)
