We Named It Love Nest...

SINGAPORE: The Pinnacle@Duxton residential project holds two world records for the longest sky-garden and the heaviest skybridge.
The popular residential project, which includes a roof-top garden, will have a total of 12 skybridges.
Each bridge weighs 354 tonnes which is equivalent to the weight of a Boeing 747.
Contractors used heavy duty hydraulics to push the bridges in place.
The bridges will be lifted to the 26th and 50th floors at 12 to 15 metres per hour.
So far four skybridges have been installed.
The Pinnacle@Duxton will have a total of 1,848 units and will be ready by year-end.
HDB said all the engineers, consultants and contractors working on the project are Singaporeans and this in itself is a landmark in the local construction industry. - CNA

Yes...according to the CNA on 11th May 2009..The house will be ready by the end of 2009... *excited*...i understand from MHT.sg forum-ers, MM Lee will choose a date for Pinnacle@Duxton Open Ceremony...*machiam,very grand like tt hor!!!ok la,i oso abit haolian la* but hor, can haolian ma...MM Lee leh...

Update abit, we are going over to HDB on 25th dis mth at 10.10am for our 1st appointment...the MHT.sg mentioned tt the floorplan will be given to us on the 1st appointment.. 5% downpayment + Lease Stamp fee + Conveyance Fee =$3ok.plus which means that we can look into our love nest design...

There's a few thing we can do after getting our floorplan..

  • -> flip more magazine to get a clearer rough idea on the theme
  • -> start looking for suitable I.D. to get the quotations
  • -> source for furniture & electrical appliances
  • -> most imptly, SAVE SAVE SAVE...

After the 1st appointment at HDB, it think we've to continue waiting for our 2nd appointment which is the Collection of Keys Day...*i'll update when we know the date* =)

Alvin had alrdy defered his studies for half a year...so that he can concentrate on helping me to prepare for our Big Day and do the "rough idea" design for our love nest (so that our I.D will get the clearest picture of what we want)...I really appreciate him being so thoughtful, knowing tt it's tedious handling everything on my own...muacks!!!i can confirm he's the right 1 for me although there r times when he can be very irritating.. -_-"'

On the 25th May 2pm...We will also be going down to Whitelink for our 1st fitting...heard from few of the Whitelink brides tt WL is very particular on photography during our fittings...So there wont be any photos posted..We'll be going over to WL ourselves as we discussed that we want my gowns to be a SURPRISE on the big day...hehehe!!!*but i really need to shed off those fats cos i really dont want to surprise guests with my fats lor*
